Two Looks for Christmas

I can't believe that Christmas is finally here! Happy holidays to every one of you out there. I'll be spending time with my family and loved ones, but I've been thinking of some looks that I'd love to wear for the holiday season that is now upon us.

1. The first is berry toned look, which is one I definitely wore for Christmas Eve:

Grab a one-wash neutral eyeshadow like the Burberry Pale Barley shadow and add on a smokey winged eye liner with a gel liner (Bobbi Brown Long-wear Gel Eyeliner). I've been loving the Maybelline Full N' Soft Mascara as it lengthens without clumping, which is perfect for long fluttery lashes. This is definitely a Kelsey (@BeautyByKelsey) inspired purchase . The TopShop Lipstick in The Damned is a perfect fuchsia berry lip which looks great patted into the lips. It's great for daytime wear without being overly heavy. You could also throw on the Stila Liquid Lipstick in Patina and pat this in for a more plum-mauve look.

2. The second look is your classic Christmas look - winged liner, red lip, and all:

Grab your favorite liquid eyeliner - my current go to is the Kat Von D Liner in Trooper, and draw yourself a thin cat flick. Add on some faux lash wispies to add an extra pop for photos. Since you're going for a simple and classic look, be sure to frame your face with some bold brows. I always love the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil for it's wider nib, which allows you to really define your brow and arches. Sculpt your cheeks and add a highlight with the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow Palette. Top off the look with the Stila Liquid Lipstick in Beso, which is a beautiful bright red that will last through snacks, drinks, and a full on meal.
