The other day I was sifting through my makeup drawers seeing what I haven't used in a while. With Fall here, I've been looking for new products to mix it up. Perhaps it's the cooler weather, but I ended up reaching for all products with dark colored packaging.

I reached back for my Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide foundation. This stuff applies like a dream, and is so lightweight. I have the shade Cashew and it blends in seamlessly with my skin. (*Side note - the packaging on this stuff is a nightmare, and a lot of product goes to waste. As much as I love the formula, it's unlikely to be a repurchase.)

I've been dusting the Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder in Translucent to help absorb any excess oil on my face. I've been loving the Hourglass Ambient Powder in Dim Light - this stuff isn't overly visible on my skin, but I can just tell after I've dusted this on. It looks almost ethereal and gives me that photoshopped natural look (does that even make sense) and is a step I haven't missed since I got it. I've been giving the Kat Von D liner a lot of love lately, and thought I should give my trusty old Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner some love as well. These eyeliners are both pretty equal in my eyes, although I do like that the Stila one is dark and pigmented right from the start.

On the brows I've been loving my Hourglass brow pencil, I've been rotating between the Anastasia Brow Wiz and Pomade Dip Brow, and have come to re-love this. Perhaps getting my brows done recently plays a huge factor in this. When my brows have just been waxed, I find that a bit of touching up is done and they look great on their own. The hourglass nib is a lot larger than the Anastasia Brow Wiz, and thus helps me get through my brows in about 30 seconds.

Last is the lips, and as noted in my Autumn Picks post, I noted that this Laura Mercier lipstick in Sin was one that I was most excited for. The lightweight option is perfect for an everyday color, and the fact that it is lightweight means your hair won't get stuck, and neither will any fuzz from your scarves and sweaters. Definite win-win.

Have you changed up your makeup game now that the weather has changed?
