The Autumn Blog Edit

We're finally here in a new season. Autumn is hands down my favorite season, there's just something about it that truly makes me feel so happy. Last year I feel like I missed out on the season because I got extremely sick this time last year. This year, I'm approaching the season with full force. Now California weather has yet to accept the fact that a new season is here, and we're still experiencing warm weather with temperatures set for 90F/31C this weekend. Yay..

There's so much to love about this time of year. I always feel like it's the best time for a new start - all of those years of school, eh? I've been feeling a lot more inspired lately and have had so many ideas running through my head for this little space.

This is my favorite season for fashion (all the layers and boots), makeup (appropriate dark nails and vampy lips season), and holidays (Thanksgiving and generally the season of soups).

To kick off my favorite season, I've decided to post every weekday throughout October! (cue collective audience cheer) I have a bunch of posts planned out and lined up, so I hope you're just as excited as I am! Posting everyday up to my birthday back in June was such a hit that I thought it would be fun to do again. Things are pretty calm at work (knock on wood) - so I'm not feeling too stressed and think now would be the perfect time to do it.

I have most of my blog posts planned out, but I'm up for any suggestions from you all. PS - I bought this blank monthly calendar notebook from Muji and I'm so excited to fill it out and plan posts out. PSS - Yige had this amazing handwritten post which I thought was so fun. She also pointed out how it's always a bit of an intimate thing to see a blogger's handwriting. And although this doesn't give you guys a 100% view of my writing, you can kind of get a closer idea of it. What do you guys think? Should I go ahead and try handwriting out an entire post? Yay/Nay - vote below!

Get ready for all the crisp weather vibes because CHY is going to go full Autumnal in the next few weeks. Even if California isn't ready to accept this new season.

What are some of the things you're most excited for this season? Favorite drink? Favorite food? Favorite fashion piece? Let's chat!
