Four Recent Amika Empties

Amika is one of my favorite hair care brands and I am fortunate to have been an ambassador for them for the past few years. This has given me the opportunity to test out many products and I have definitely formed opinions and favorites from the brand. I finished four empties and thought I’d do a quick chat on them.

Just a quick reminder that I have an Amika discount code ‘CHYISM’ which saves you 10% on your order, always.

  1. 3D (Volume and Thickening Shampoo) | If you’re looking to give a little extra oomph to your hair without the grittiness, the shampoo is perfect for you. I find that this helps my hair to look a bit fuller without making my hair feel heavy or weighed down at all. I have liked this one so much that I have even purchased the 500ml refill to fill my empty bottle. However I will say that the 3D conditioner is not my favorite and I do feel that one leaves an almost sticky texture that I don’t enjoy.

  2. The Kure (Intense Bond Repair Mask) | This one is heavier than the Soulfood mask and has a slightly different scent. I do feel this one can be heavier than the other mask so a little goes a long way.

  3. The Kure (Multi-Task Repair Treatment) | I’m a huge fan of the Flash Instant Shine Mask so when they released this Kure treatment I had to try it asap. I do find that this one makes your hair silky soft and healthy. I recently stopped coloring my hair and I just find my hair overall is looking healthier and fuller. Brittle ends be gone. It’s also a light texture and works in 60 seconds which is great when you’re in a pinch and may not have the time to wait for a typical hair mask to sit.

  4. The Wizard (Detangling Primer) | I always use some sort of detangler after I wash my hair and have been trying various brands over the years. I had seen that The Wizard was constantly sold out and after I finally got my hands on it, I could see why. This has your typical Amika scent and it really did help to quickly smooth out my hair. It helps to protect my hair but also leaves it smooth and shiny. I’ve noticed the overall smoothness of my hair has improved after using this almost exclusively for the better part of a year. I did see they brought out a silicone free version which I just picked up and will test out.
