What's In My Asia Skincare Travel Bag

I'm a nosey person and I love seeing what people bring in their makeup/skincare bags on trips. As a lover of mini products, stocking up on minis and deluxe samples of some of my products throughout the year is one of my favorite things to do - that way I can take them with me on any of my trips! I always keep an eye out for when Sephora has free deluxe samples (with purchase), and if it's one I've been wanting to try (ex: Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum), or just a classic favorite (ex: Origins GinZing Moisturizer), I'm sure to snag it and pick up a re-stock on a favorite or pick up another mini to try out. I knew the weather was going to be warm in Asia and I was going light on makeup, so I wanted to make sure I had myself a sturdy arsenal of A-game skincare products with me. And of course, I housed all of these in my pink glossier bags (I carried 2 - one in my check in and one in my carry on). Remember - Glossier pink bags are free with every order! Be sure to snag yours and order through my Glossier link **!

Let's start with cleansing! I brought two cleansing products with me, my First Aid Beauty Facial Cleanser and my Tatcha Polished Enzyme Powder. My bf occasionally uses the FAB cleanser so it was one of those products that I knew both of us could use, saving us space in our liquids carry on. {I ended up finishing this one up on the trip and tossed it out at the end of my trip.} I knew that my skin would be seeing a lot of sun so I wanted to make sure that I was exfoliating and getting rid of any dead skin. The Tatcha Polished Enzyme Powder is my favorite to use - you can use it on its own mixed with water, or mixed into your face cleanser of choice. A little goes a long way and this mini has literally lasted me forever. Speaking of sun exposure, you know I had to keep my skin protected. I wanted to bring my Glossier SPF (post here), but it took a bit too much room. I decided to bring my MISSHA Safe Block Essence Sun (SPF 45) as well as my Tatcha Pore Perfecting Sunscreen. As you can see, my MISSHA sunscreen was on it's last leg so I brought the Tatcha mini as a backup just in case - it's so small that it was easy to tuck into my bag.

I didn't have a mini of my Pixi Glow Tonic (I think I threw away the empty mini bottle I had) so I ended up picking up a mini Muji bottle and taking some with me on the go. A little goes a long way and this is the perfect for giving your skin that boost of glow. Speaking of acids, I started using the Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum which has 12% AHA/BHAs. Of course using such a high percentage of acid, it's recommended to follow up with a rich oil - so this mini of the Drunk Elephant Virgun Marula Oil was perfect to bring along. I think it's nearing it's last leg so I'll need to try to finish it up ASAP or just give it the toss soon. You can pick up both of these minis in a set together here.

For hydration on the face I wanted to bring my Glossier Super Bounce as it's lightweight, comfortable on the skin, and so hydrating. It's perfect for use either day and night (although Glossier recommends using it only once a day). I apply a thin layer to my face and my skin just drinks. it. all. up. For an extra burst of glow and extra burst of refreshment, I brought along a mini of my Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. I picked this up a while back and this thing has a fairly short shelf life, so I really need to get on with using this (and my full size one - whoops). I really should throw this mini in my day-to-day bag and take this with me and spritz away. I know my skin would looove that. I brought 2 moisturizers because I'm indecisive - I brought along my trusty Origins GinZing Moisturizer as it's one of my safety zone products. I had been using the Glossier Priming Moisturizer prior to my trip and wanted to bring that along too as it was good for mornings before makeup, but also good enough to apply to my elbows/knees/dry skin when needed.

On the haircare front I just took some of my favorite NYM Long & Strong shampoo/conditioner with me in a travel-sized bottle. I also took the It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In plus Keratin to help keep my hair tame and silky smooth. I also brought the MILK Makeup Dry Shampoo with me as it's my all time favorite dry shampoo and perfect for those non-hair wash days.

For body care I brought this mini of the Soap & Glory Clean On Me Body Wash which is my favorite body wash of choice. I'll need to *try* to remember to keep this bottle and re-fill it when I'm off traveling. It's a good generous size and this lasted me 2 weeks - my bf even used this a good few times when we didn't have hotel toiletries to turn to. I also brought this deluxe sample of the L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil which is my favvvvorite option for shaving. It leaves your skin silky smooth and is incredibly moisturizing. This product will always get a 10/10 from me. And a little goes a long way so if you see this in the 100pt perk at Sephora, I highly recommend that you pick it up!
