New In | Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift

For the longest time I've been on the search for new eye products and treatments. I get those dreaded baggy puffs under my eyes when I'm tired, and it definitely shows. I'm glad I don't really have dark under eyes (yet anyways) so for now, baggy under eyes are my main enemy. I'm more into preventive skincare rather than target treatments per se. I'm hoping that me 50 years down the line will appreciate 20-year old me doing all these things for our skin.

For a while I've been wanting to try an eye product with a metal tip - it's cooling and helps de-puff your under eyes. Sounds great to me. When Dermalogica reached out to see if I'd like to try their new Stress Positive Eye Lift* I was over the moon excited. From the photos you may think the tube is pretty small, but it was pleasantly larger than I expected. It has a cream-gel formula which helps minimize the appearance of puffiness and dark circles while boosting the skin's luminosity.

Dermalogica recommends to put three dots both above and below your eyes, under your brows and under your eyes. You're supposed to massage the product in a few times and then leave on to sink in for 3-5 minutes. After that you can lightly pat in any product with your ring finger or wipe off any excess product. You can wear this over makeup for a bit of extra glow, in the morning for a quick pick-me-up, or at night as treatment. Personally, I don't like to put it over makeup as this just seems a bit unsanitary to me.

Price wise it may seem a bit expensive, $65 for .85oz of product. But with my discount code (below), you can score this for $50. And when compared to other barands, it isn't too far off for product per oz. Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment (.95oz/$48), Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream (.5oz/$26.50), Shiseido Benefiance Eye Contour Cream (.5oz/$57), Kate Somerville Firming Eye Cream (.5oz/$85).

Dermalogica is a pretty no-fuss brand which I've noticed withe the items I've tried from them so far. The Phyto Replenish Oil* is soothing and a nice little boost for the skin - I've been mixing this one with my moisturizer for my face/neck, and have been adding a few drops to my body lotion to give a little boost to my overall skin (post here). The Daily Superfoliant* is also a good little scrub (post here). I've been using it on its own and also mixing it in with my Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser. Shop Glossier with me here and score 20% off your first purchase!

Dermalogica was kind enough to give me a code to share with you all so you can save $$. The code is 'HELLOCINDY20' where you can save 20% off any purchase, not just the new Stress Positive Eye Lift. The code will be valid from now until April 31, 2017 pst 11:59PM. The code is US only.
