Current Everyday Essentials

For the last two weeks my life has been a bit of a craze. It's the busiest time of the year at my job and I'm cranking out 12-13 hour days at work. Makeup is one of the last things on my mind, but these products are my everyday essentials and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm churning out a ton of paperwork so dry hands are not ideal as paper cuts happen more so than often to me. I've been reaching back for my Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Cream as the scent of it just reminds me of Spring time. I really have a no-fuss makeup routine right now and I've been reaching back for my Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments as they're great for moisturizing my ultra chapped lips and being low enough maintenance to crank out these long work days.

My phone is pretty much an essential and the only thing helping me get through this busy work season - silly snapchat filters and dog Instagram pages are currently two things helping me get through my day. (I am minorly obsessed with Frenchies and follow too many, @frenchiebutt & @piggyandpolly are two/three of my favorites!) My leather phone case is about 6 months old but it is aging well, I'm quite excited as it holds up quite well and has protected my phone from more than a handful of drops. And the aging leather adds quite some bit of character. If you didn't know, I made my first big girl purchase and bought a car! My new ride is a Subaru and the only thing that gets me out of bed in the cold morning is knowing that the seat heater is waiting to welcome me with open arms. Also guys, bluetooth is pretty much life changing. Yeah yeah, I'm late to the game and pretty much drove a dinosaur before this.

The long work days mean that my eyes are paying the price, to say the least, and eyedrops were my only savior. Then came along *Firmoo. I don't wear glasses or contacts, but I do have reading glasses as my eyes are sh*t at reading for long periods. Definitely doesn't help that I stare at computer screens and my phone 95% of my waking day. So these came just in time to help me get through long hours of reading.

I was contacted by Firmoo and generously offered a pair of glasses to try. I was all game for this as I have not had vision insurance in over 3 years. A new pair of glasses was more than needed. I liked that most frames cost between $20-$40, so you can really find a pair that's right for you, and within your budget. This is very much an affordable way to pick up some new frames if, like me, you don't have vision coverage.

I've always been a fan of larger framed glasses as I find that my face is rather round (lol). I have quite large chipmunk cheeks and finding glasses that don't sit on my cheeks is always rather difficult. I was nervous that these would do just that, but to my pleasant surprise they don't! I was so excited I had to show the boyfriend asap. (And if you're wondering, that is NARS Afghan Red on my lips, and it. is. amazing.)

I also think it's particularly great if you want a pair of stylish glasses but don't want to pay a hefty price tag. Or if you're just getting glasses for show or looking for some new sunglasses, there's a huge variety and they're all quite in the now! I was definitely eyeing the clear glasses as I've seen those on some individuals and it looks pretty fab. But being typical me, I went simple and went for these tortoise frame glasses that I knew I would be able to pair with any outfit. The quality of these glasses aren't bad at all and well worth it at the low cost. Shipping is rather fast as I received mine in about 1 week.

Have you ever ordered glasses online? What are some of your everyday essentials that you definitely pick up on your way out the door each morning?

* I was generously given these pair of glasses to try c/o Firmoo. All opinions are my own.
